Meet Nik, a trailblazer in the hair industry who has spent the past 15 years honing his craft behind the chair. Remarkably, he started his journey at just 19 years old, quickly partnering with a hair color brand. Soon after he began dedicating his life to education and elevating the industry as a whole. 

Nik's artistic flair and innovative spirit shine through in his work, from his exquisite color formulations to his stunning salon designs. But his passion extends beyond his own success; he is an adventurer at heart, eager to share the knowledge and creativity that the industry has bestowed upon him.

His extraordinary talent has not gone unnoticed, as his work has been featured in prestigious publications like Behindthechair and Modern Salon Magazine. One of his most esteemed moments came when he became part of the GOLDWELL 2017 Global Elumen campaign. Giving up his role with a distributor to follow his dreams of opening a salon Nik now educates for and is the co owner of CommonHaus Beauty an industry education mecca located right here in Metro Detroit.

Today, Nik is the proud owner of three thriving salons - Alchemy Color Lab, a commission-based haven and KinFolk, a rental salon, both situated in the vibrant downtown Royal Oak area. But he doesn't stop there. Nik's relentless drive for innovation has led him to introduce The Green House, Madison Heights' newest luxury salon, a groundbreaking concept that seamlessly combines commission and rental opportunities under one roof.

With Nik at the helm, the future of the hair industry is in capable hands, and he is excited to continue pushing boundaries, fostering growth, and inspiring others on their own artistic journeys. 2024 begins with the addition of Mosaic Hair Co hair salon to Lake Orion, MI as Nik's fourth salon haven.
